Frequently Asked Questions:
We hope that this FAQ page answers some of your most pressing questions. If you still have questions that we have not answered, please email email@example.com or visit the contact us page that can be found on the top right corner of this page.
Why should my church consider using a search firm?
The church specializes in creating devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe that they should continue to focus on this mission, and not need to divert their focus to recruting. Recruiting is an art that takes time to perfect. A search firm has the expertise and time to dedicate to the recruiting process.
What does your service cost?
We offer multiple services to meet your specified needs. One option is to operate on a 30% contingency fee. This means that we are only paid if one of our candidates is hired. Then, we ask for 30% of the first year salary. Please refer to our pricing page for more information. We also offering a contained recruiting option. This option guarantees three qualified candidates within a short period of time (two months). It also lowers the overall fee to 20%. There is an engagement fee to get started, but it is deducted from the final cost once we fill the position.
What happens if we fill the position on our own?
If you hire a candidate that Churchology did not find on your behalf, we do not require any payment. We do our best to serve the church, and if the church wins, we win. If you would like to read more in regards to our fees, please refer to our pricing page for more information.
When can we expect the position to be filled?
We are typically able to fill a position in 3 to 4 months. There are many factors that play into this timeline, and we may fill the position much earlier, or later. We aim to fill every position within 3 months.
Why is Churchology better than posting our positions on the web?
Many churches prefer to post their positions on the web before deciding to work with us. They find that they don't have the time to search through the flood of resumes that they typically receive. Your full time job is to serve the church, not to recruit. Let us do that job for you. We will handle searching through resumes, as well as searching through our own network of candidates in order to find the right person for you.
